Publisher and President / Foreign Rights Director
Aleksandra Saługa graduated from the Faculty of Management as well as from the Centre for Latin American Studies, both at the University of Warsaw. She gained her professional experience conducting development aid projects in Kenya, working for Poland-East Africa Economic Foundation, an NGO co-financed by Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has been involved in Albatros Publishing House since childhood and was the youngest participant of international book fairs, where she accompanied her father, Andrzej Kuryłowicz in search of new publications. Since 2014 she has been the head of Albatros where she is in charge of new releases plan, acquisitions as well as overseeing company’s strategy. She believes that the strength of the company lies in a team of people. A keen-traveller, book-lover and a mother passionate about her two daughters. She wishes a day was 24 hours longer.
